JW grew up in Iowa with a Midwest work ethic and hometown values. Arizona has been his home since 1997 and he has been serving clients for nearly 8 years. He serves as the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Vice Chairman of Membership Services as well as on their Board of Directors. Because of JW’s passion for child development, he volunteers with Junior Achievement as well as coaching more than 225 youth through multiple organizations including the YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, and Jr.Suns / Jr.NBA. JW and his firm have been blessed to be recognized with various leadership, professional, and business awards.
JW’s family and faith are a supportive foundation to not only his motivation, but also his remaining humble. His wife Tiffany works with an understanding heart in the mental health field. His daughter Michayla can usually be found talking on the phone with her friends or playing extremely tough defense on the basketball court. His son Chase is often hitting baseballs over the back yard fence or helping dad mow the lawn.

Angel Sotelo

Angel was born in Phoenix but raised in Greenfield, Indiana. She moved back to Phoenix in 1997. For the last 4 years Angel has owned and operated her family company that she inherited. After completing and receiving her associates in Paralegal studies from Everest College she decided to pursue college at Arizona State University. She is currently working on her Bachelors degree and then wants to move on to law school. Angel is very involved with the community and school. At ASU she currently is the President of HHS and the Pre-Law Society. She has also coached and choreographed for many dance and cheer teams here in the valley for the past 7 years. Along with pursuing law school she is studying to become a licensed Financial Advisor. Angel has a passion to help others whether it’s legally or financially. She hopes to receive her licenses this coming year.
Angel’s family and Christian faith are an important aspect of her everyday life. They help bring the strength to accomplish all her goals. Angel and fiancé Brian were blessed recently with a beautiful baby girl. With the little spare time that she has Angel loves to spend time with her family.

Jim brings over 30 years of investment experience to our office. Originally from Chicago, Jim has been in Arizona since 1991 and currently brings his knowledge to the “senior” investor. Working closely with the IRS/AARP tax-aide program has been a focal point of his investment strategies in the senior community. Jim also volunteers his time to the AZ Attorney General, Junior Achievement, and the IRS/VITA program. He also is a SCORE business counselor and mentor. Jim is a senior citizen, a grandfather, and enjoys golfing.

Lloyd Northrop is new to our state and to our firm. He came here from the Texas where he grew up in a small town south of Ft. Worth. He owned his own business for 11 years before becoming a financial agent. This gives him a unique insight to the needs of business owners. He has been happily married since 1985 and has two college age daughters.
